Hi everyone!

I’m sharing another DT project for Tresors de Luxe

Last November, I created a ‘Grateful’ journal for myself. Because I really wasn’t sure what I wanted on the cover, I decided to just wait until I found the perfect products. Well……..as soon as I got my box of goodies from Lucy, I knew exactly what I was going to do!!!

Grateful (4)

I do love the look of lace with burlap and twine, so the rest was pretty easy to do. I glued the widest lace trim down first, making sure that the little bird on the scrapbook paper was framed by the leaves. Next I added a narrow band of burlap trim, closer to the spine.

Grateful (3)

Then I layered the pearl and beaded Alencon trim over top. I added a length olive twine on the piece, letting it twist and curl on its own, and spot gluing the edges under the trim.

Grateful (1)

I chose my flowers….starting with the light brown shabby chic flower embellishment. And then I added two yellow chiffon flowers. I tea dyed them first to tone down their brightness, and make them a bit more rustic. An older puffy word finished off the cover.

Grateful (2)

That details and beading in this trim just makes me swoon!!!!

I hope you enjoyed my project for today…..stay tuned for more!!

And don’t forget to check out the Tresors de Luxe blog, for more gorgeous DT projects!!

Happy playing!!

Hello everyone!

Do you love to alter boxes? I do! This is an altered cigar box that I made using some beautiful embellishments from Tresors de Luxe and the Prima Vintage Emporium collection.

I dry brushed the cigar box with an antique white acrylic paint, then covered it with paper. On the top of the box I added some paper layers, ephemera, and a chipboard heart, then added some pretties from the Tresors de Luxe Etsy shop.

Don’t you just love this key? There other styles of key charms in the Etsy shop as well, so be sure to check out the Charms section.

Around the sides of the box I used one of the beautiful laces from the shop as well. I used Prima Artisan Powders to color some parts of the lace for added interest.

Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Hello, again!

Sandi here with you today sharing the “inside” of the treasured junk journal I introduced last week for Tresors de Luxe. It was so fun playing with Lucy’s trims and embellishments to enhance my journal.

Inside, you will find 3 “signatures” and here they are all together.

I’ve removed both the front and back cover so you can more clearly see the insides, so to speak.

My journal was create with mostly Blue Fern Studios Serendipity collection along with a smidge of their Chesterville and some printed chipboard from other collections.

Note the pretty laces and trims from Lucy’s shop, swoon!

In the little small pocket on the right, I’ve tucked my first postcard from my Dad and used some gorgeous white trim from Lucy’s shop.

The next page is sans lace but has some cute artwork and embellishments.

Here I’ve added a large white lace flower from Tresors de Luxe and embellished it with a notecard and Flair. On the second part of the flap is a notecard from Daddy.  Here’s the link for the flower itself: Lace Flower

I adore this fabric flower appliqué from Tresors de Luxe. The pearl dangles are amazing!

I’ve used this pretty dangle lace again to decorate the pocket on the right. The remainder was finished with a vellum motto, flowers, bling and buttons.

This is just the back side of the first signature for those of you who want to see everything, lol!

Now, we’ll have a look at signature #2. I adore this pretty scalloped lace in our white. It contrasts nicely against the pinky-peach. I’ve included some rhinestones and other embellishments.

This pocket is a little plainer. I figure that as I begin using this and making personal notes, that I’ll appreciate the opportunity to include more actual ephemera from my dad.

This is a fun little flap with a Creative Embellishments chipboard frame and an old photo of my Dad. And sweeter still, I made that cowboy shirt he was wearing … back in my old sewing days, haha! He was a good sport and actually wore it a lot.

Look at this beauty of a trim, my friends! It’s so gorgeous!  You can find it HERE  I added some faux ink pens and a chipboard piece.

Another pretty flap with some printed chipboard .. and letters of course.

We are not finished with signature #2 yet. I’m saving that for next time along with #3 … and hope to include a short flip through video of the entire album next time.

Thanks for coming by!

Don’t forget to hop on over to visit Lucy’s Etsy STORE.

See you next time.

Hi everyone!

I’m so excited to share my first Design Team project for Tresors de Luxe!!

A little spring time bonnet, chapeau, or you can call it a hat……

Spring Millinery (4)

I fell in love with this gorgeous Venise Lace Trim! This one is perfect for going around my chapeau.

Spring Millinery (3)

Here you can see how it just molded right around the brim.

Spring Millinery (2)

You know I had to scoop up, just one side, to add some flowers!

Spring Millinery (1)

I had a bit of ribbon in my stash that went perfectly with the hat and the flowers, so I glued it in a fan fold, and attached it to the up-scoop. Then, I added the White Flower Applique, and layered on 3 of the Yellow Striped Chiffon Beaded Flowers over top.

I love how this little bonnet turned out! Now, if only, I had a grand-daughter!!!

Please be sure to check out the Tresors de Luxe Etsy Shop…..Lucy, has an amazing selection of gorgeous laces, appliques and fabric flowers!!!

Happy crafting!!

Lynne
