Hello friends! Today I am sharing a mini album I made using MANY, MANY laces and beautiful embellishments from the Tresors de Luxe Etsy shop. I paired these laces with a gorgeous paper collection by Stamperia called “Old Lace” and I love the result!

To start, I added this large lace to the cover of the mini album over the papers.

I also added a bunch of flowers, including these pink patterned chiffon flowers and a brown beaded flower stem, both from the Tresors etsy shop.

And, this rhinestone brooch was the perfect touch on the shutters. The Tresors de Luxe etsy shop has many charms and brooches available for purchase.

Inside the cover I added some applique pieces that I cut up and tucked under the paper for journaling.

I also added this bow charm.

I cut up a different applique and tucked pieces under the envelope and put one of the flower pieces in the center.

On the rest of the the pages I added lace trim and more appliques that I cut up to fit with the design of each of the pages.

This applique was the perfect center for this page, and is great for mini albums in general because it has lots of details, and is flat, which doesn’t add to the bulk and allows the album to close.

I added this beaded applique to the dress form after I cut it down. I didn’t glue down the beads because I love the movement as you flip through the pages.

On these pages below, I used one applique that I cut up into five different pieces to space out to adorn this spread.

I tucked the two end pieces of the applique under the heart.

I kept this spread simple, cutting up the lace patterns and adding brown pearls to the flower centers.

I also added a small paper flower for some contrast.

I made coordinating pockets for this spread.

This lace is very large and looks great cut up as pieces that resemble vases.

For this last spread of the inside back cover I wanted it to be pretty flat, so I only added the applique to the part of the page that holds the “pull outs.”

Here’s a closeup of that beautiful applique. There are many appliques in the etsy shop!

Hello, everyone!

It’s Sandi here with you today sharing the last part of my DT “Treasured” junk journal for Tresors de Luxe

Next time I’ll be moving on to a new project! I promise! LOL

Here’s just a quick side view of the 3 signatures all bundled together, minus the journal cover and back. I’m still swooning over that gorgeous Venice lace from Lucy’s shop.

For those of you who are interested, here is a video of the entire album to view when you have a few minutes.

But for those of you who prefer photos, here is the last few pages of the journal:

In this photo, we are looking at the last little bit of signature #3 and using this gorgeous white bridal quality lace from Tresors de Luxe. I finished the embellishment with a Corine flower, a junk finding, washi tape and a printed chipboard from Blue Fern Studios. I found the lace HERE for you.

This is the back of the third signature and I’ve kept it blank so that it will lie flat. I may write some journaling there at a later date.

And here is some more of the gorgeous lace that I shared in my last Tresors de Luxe post to embellish the front of signature #3. You can find it HERE. My maiden name was Key, so I always use keys when I can. These printed chipboard pieces are older ones from Prima.

Here’s just a little flap with a butterfly ephemera piece for tucking in memorabilia. The following page is for journaling.

And next a sweet flap with a typewrite chipboard and title.

And wow!

The beaded appliqué on this page is soooo gorgeous in person!

You can see it better in my video.

(Lucy’s photo from the shop)

 You can find it HERE

Another sweet flap with printed chipboard.

And I thought it was apropos to include my birthday date.

And lastly (almost) is this 7 inch off white lace trim that really makes a statement! I embellished with chipboard, metal and a flower but really it doesn’t need anything!

And the final pocket for tucking some memorabilia.

And the back of the last signature!

And whew! We are finally finished!

These longer projects are so satisfying but they do take many long hours!

But now I have a home for all Dad’s letters!

Don’t forget to check out my video above.

And please visit Lucy’s shop at Tresors de Luxe.

XO

Sandi

Hi everyone! Easter is just around the corner, and I have
created a beautiful center piece as a gift. The perfect finishing touch was
some gorgeous Lace Trim from Tresors de Luxe.

I bought the little metal container and flowers and put it
together. There was just something missing so I pulled out some of that
gorgeous Lace and added it to the outside of the tin!

I think this Lace piece almost has an Aztec look to it and
it is PERFECT for my project!

One last closeup.

Hi everyone!

I’m sharing another DT project for Tresors de Luxe

Last November, I created a ‘Grateful’ journal for myself. Because I really wasn’t sure what I wanted on the cover, I decided to just wait until I found the perfect products. Well……..as soon as I got my box of goodies from Lucy, I knew exactly what I was going to do!!!

Grateful (4)

I do love the look of lace with burlap and twine, so the rest was pretty easy to do. I glued the widest lace trim down first, making sure that the little bird on the scrapbook paper was framed by the leaves. Next I added a narrow band of burlap trim, closer to the spine.

Grateful (3)

Then I layered the pearl and beaded Alencon trim over top. I added a length olive twine on the piece, letting it twist and curl on its own, and spot gluing the edges under the trim.

Grateful (1)

I chose my flowers….starting with the light brown shabby chic flower embellishment. And then I added two yellow chiffon flowers. I tea dyed them first to tone down their brightness, and make them a bit more rustic. An older puffy word finished off the cover.

Grateful (2)

That details and beading in this trim just makes me swoon!!!!

I hope you enjoyed my project for today…..stay tuned for more!!

And don’t forget to check out the Tresors de Luxe blog, for more gorgeous DT projects!!

Happy playing!!

Lynne

Hello everyone!

Do you love to alter boxes? I do! This is an altered cigar box that I made using some beautiful embellishments from Tresors de Luxe and the Prima Vintage Emporium collection.

I dry brushed the cigar box with an antique white acrylic paint, then covered it with paper. On the top of the box I added some paper layers, ephemera, and a chipboard heart, then added some pretties from the Tresors de Luxe Etsy shop.

Don’t you just love this key? There other styles of key charms in the Etsy shop as well, so be sure to check out the Charms section.

Around the sides of the box I used one of the beautiful laces from the shop as well. I used Prima Artisan Powders to color some parts of the lace for added interest.

Thanks for stopping by the blog!
